What is Cosmelan MD Depigmentation System?

The Cosmelan MD Depigmentation System is a professional, non-invasive, topical treatment that targets pigmentation problems on the skin. It regulates melanin production in your body and reduces the pigmented spots caused by excessive melanin. This treatment can also reduce surgical and acne scars, making them fade away and blend with the surrounding skin. Cosmelan MD is suitable for all skin types.

How does it work?

Pigmentation problems occur due to the increased production of melanin due to age, acne, sun exposure, hormonal changes, and other factors. As your body produces more melanin, you develop discolored or brown spots in parts of your body. The Cosmelan MD depigmentation treatment proceeds in two stages. First, our nurse practitioner applies the Cosmelan topical cream to your face as a mask. You have to wear the mask for 6 to 12 hours, depending on the severity of your pigmentation problems, and then wash it off in your home.

The second stage of the treatment is continued at home. You’ll be given a Cosmelan home care kit with various products and ingredients. You must apply the products according to the given instructions. The entire home care process takes less than an hour. You must be regular with home care for optimal results.

What can I expect after the Cosmelan MD treatment?

The uppermost layer of your skin will feel dry and gradually peel off in 3 to 4 days, revealing the smooth and even-textured skin underneath. The problem areas will be improved, and your overall complexion will look luminous and bright. You might experience some dryness, tightness, itching, and sensitivity for up to two weeks, but the side-effects are mild and temporary. You can resume your daily activities immediately.
