Dr. Schwartz is proud to offer his patients RHA fillers — a groundbreaking family of hyaluronic acid fillers that address dynamic and static wrinkles while maintaining a complete range of expressions.
How do RHA fillers work?
RHA fillers add hyaluronic acid molecules underneath the facial tissues with wrinkles and nasolabial folds. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occurring and biocompatible component that attracts and retains water, making your skin appear voluminous, smooth, and supple. The hyaluronic acid also adds volume under the nasolabial folds, filling them out until your face appears smooth and youthful. RHA fillers are different from other hyaluronic acid fillers because of their unique manufacturing process.
Most HA fillers modify the hyaluronic acid components to increase their longevity in the human body, making them appear less natural than the HA in your skin. However, RHA fillers have a gentle manufacturing process that makes the HA mimic the natural HA in your skin. As such, when injected under the facial tissues, hyaluronic acid works effectively to smoothen your wrinkles without freezing your facial expressions.
