What does injectable rhinoplasty correct?

Most people who seek to enhance their nose shape and address less dramatic cosmetic concerns are ideal candidates for injectable rhinoplasty since the procedure is considered safe for nearly anyone who meets the following criteria:

You are in good physical health
You do not have active outbreaks, rashes, or skin infections in the area
You are at least 18 years old
You do not have an allergy to the dermal filler ingredients
You seek minor changes that benefit from a minimally invasive procedure

What happens during the procedure?

During your consultation, Dr. Stark or Dr. Schwartz will thoroughly evaluate your nose's curvature, height, projection, and irregularities while listening to your cosmetic goals. With your concerns and goals in mind, the ideal treatment plan is determined to achieve your desired look. The entire procedure lasts approximately 15 to 30 minutes.

A topical anesthetic will be used to numb the area before your procedure. After cleansing the skin and marking the injection sites, Dr. Stark or Dr. Schwartz will precisely and artistically inject the fillers into your nose, manually massaging the area after each injection. Once the results have been achieved, a cold compress is applied to reduce swelling.

Recovery & Results

Although you may experience slight tenderness and redness in the treatment area, you can immediately return to work and your daily activities. Any bruising can easily be concealed with makeup and won’t last long. To optimize your results, Dr. Stark and Dr. Schwartz recommend avoiding sun exposure, strenuous activities, and extreme heat–such as from a steam room or sauna–for several days. You will see your results immediately, lasting anywhere from six months to two years. While the results will gradually fade, they can easily be retouched at any point.
